My name is Cindy Wijns and I am a passionate artist who specializes in creating realistic animal portraits in pastel pencil. As a true animal lover, I live with my family in Londerzeel and share our home with a Border Collie named Arista. In addition to my full-time job as a clerk, I also focus on my passion for creating beautiful works of art of pets.

Since a young age, I have been involved in various forms of art, which I have taught myself without any formal education. Pastel pencil is my favorite medium, and I prefer to draw animals, but sometimes I also try my hand at portraits of people. Due to busy times in my life and less time for my hobby, creating art took a back seat. But I decided to pick it up again and started making animal portraits in pastel pencil.

I was immediately hooked on this technique because of the beautiful and realistic results it can produce. This led me to start a sole proprietorship where I offer my services to people who want a unique portrait of their pet or other animal made.
